As most of you know, my wife has been successfully battling cancer since 1995. Thanks for your prayers. During her radiation treatments a couple of years ago, we stayed at the Hope Lodge in Saint Louis, where we met a number of wonderful people undergoing cancer treatments and their spouses. My wife Dee tries to stay in touch with the people we met. Among them was Paul, a farmer with throat cancer, and his lively wife Myra.

Myra called my wife this morning. Well, Paul passed away recently from his cancer, and now Myra apparently has a tumor in her throat. She was in good spirits, and she joked a little with Dee. I would like you to join me in prayer for this delightful couple.
