Hello everyone. I'm pleased to announce that we are finally running custom maps in our server.
It's taken a lot of time and research......and a little trial and error......but it was a success! When you log into the server and a newer map is playing....you will start downloading the map from our redirect. The same will happen if you are already in the game on a map you've already played.......and the next map in the rotation is a new map. Those who have already downloaded the new maps will proceed to the game......while you are downloading. The testing done so far shows the longest download at approx 2 minutes. That's a pretty good speed when you consider how large the files are. Once you've downloaded it though....your done. You'll be back in game with the rest of us....and won't have to worry about it again!
We'll start out slow at first......and as new ones are rotated in....others will be taken out. Hopefully I can keep you all from being bored.
