URGENT Prayer Request

Our pastor, Randall Pike, had back surgery recently. There were some complications after he returned home and he began leaking spinal fluid.  When they got him back to the hospital, they told him he'd have to lay flat for 4 straight days to heal.  During this time, he quit breathing and coded.  They were able to stabilize him.  However, he was put fully on a ventilator and now has developed brain swelling.  Things are looking very very bad.

However, as a friend said, despite what any doctor tells us, the Great Physician has good news!  His Salvation is that good news!!  We also know that, being the Great Physician, He can heal our beloved pastor.  We don't always know His plans, and the pieces don't always seem to fit, but, ultimately, we know they do and create a picture beyond human description of His glory.  I know many congregations are represented here and I pray that if you have a prayer chain or a way of getting this prayer request out to folks, please do.  He also has a wife, a son, and two daughters.

I would love to see our God "show off" His love, grace, mercy, and His POWER and blow the doc's minds with His healing!! Whatever His will is...we will praise Him!!

Thanks guys...at this point apparently the doc's are saying it will take a miracle for him to recover.  I pray God will show them what a miracle is all about.

I prayed. I wrote the prayer on the Facebook! I claimed the heal in name of Jesus Christ!!!

Here is what I say in the Facebook...

Jesus... I claim the power of healing with authority which is in us through Jesus Christ, heal our brother's pastor. Let it be your glory. Let it be a testimony. I know it is not Your will for people to be sick so I rebuke the complication pastor had in the name of Jesus Christ! AMEN!

The words Mrs. Gail, his wonderful wife, used were "severe brain damage."  Everything else seems to be working fine though.  Thankfully, I believe God is strengthening her because she is still hopeful and praying for a full recovery...which we all know our God is capable of.

Howdy folks,

I thank you all for your prayers on behalf of the family, our Church family, and myself.  Around midnight last night, our beloved pastor went home to be with the Lord he loves so much.  Though our hearts may be broken...we know that God's plan is perfect and He is forever faithful. We may not see the big picture, but, He does because he holds it all in His hands already. We will miss Bro. Randall Pike. God used him in a great way and we pray we were able to bless him and that he knew just how much we love him and his family.

Pray for us all as we know he's in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ, it still hurts that we're temporarily separated from our beloved brother.  It hurts me to see those I care about so much hurt...but, I know God is taking care of them and will heal their hurt.  Pray for our deacons, associate pastor, and staff as they seek God's direction.

Before we dismissed after each sermon he preached...he used to say, "If Jesus should come before we meet again," and we'd answer, "I'll see you up there!"

Well, praise Jesus our glorious Savior,  "We'll see you up there" brother!

Yeah Pure.  I tell ya, God used that man in our lives and from what his family tells us, we were used in his life.  God knew his day was coming, and it is humbling to be a part of His plan in blessing those last days of his and being blessed as well.
