Some have complained about some of the music in COD4. I ran across this in cod4central.com.

Turning off the in game music (PC version) - To disable the music in the game (in case you want to listen to your own), browse to your COD4 folder, (something like "C:\Program Files\Activision\Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare") and rename the "Miles" folder to "MilesMUSICOFF". This way the music will be disabled in the game. If you ever want the music back, just rename the folder back to "Miles".

I do not know if this works in the Ace Mod.

I have not tried this myself because I am not sick of "Trigger Happy" yet.

Good tip Rabbit.  I just tried it out by playing back a demo video I took while in Trigger Happy and the music was gone.  It also took out the music on the menu screen.  I only wonder if it will cause an issue when loading new maps that use sound, because if the process requires there be a folder named "Miles" to load to and the folder isn't there, it might error out.

As a kid that grew up on the beach in So. Cal. during the era of the Beach Boys, I love "Trigger Happy".

My boys roll over and laugh out loud when they here it. It even brings a smile to the wife's face.

It plays on the map Toybox which is one of the few maps I do well on. Must be something in the music that makes my game play better.  Grin

Yea, i tried it too, it will unfortunatly disable all music in the game.

I think you may be able to just turn off the music in your options page but i havent tried it out yet.
