I wrote a review of the CIVF mobo in Newegg and Asus responded in it and game me a reference case number.
Writing to Mason at Asus exactly what I did, he agreed that there is a problem with the NB overheating in older versions (board is only 2+ month old as they came out in April) so he is willing to give me a refurbish mobo that he will personally test everything and update the bios as well there.

Hello Dale,
For this special case I can go ahead and issue you an RMA to get you a replacement board that I'll be fully testing prior to shipping.
The replacement CIVF will not be a brand new board but I will be fully testing, update BIOS, etc. so you'll know that it's working properly. You will get an e-mail in about 15 minutes with the RMA number and the shipping instructions. I'll have you send the board directly to me.
Best Regards,
Mason
Now, I call that some Awesome service from ASUS being that I messed it up trying to fix it.
Be a couple weeks I guess to get it (10 working days)
Beats buying a new one, but I would of waited for the Crosshair IV Extreme version soon to come out and eat this one.
That one you can mix Nvida and ATI on same mobo (crossfiring em).
I told him that and was hoping he would offer one for some $, but instead am getting original - tested!
Still, am impressed after leaving a 1 star on this MB... Will have to update that review...
EDITED:ASUS has honored the mobo and has shipped another board. Be here Fri: 7/14/10
