improve my memory is need...

Guys,

I need to increase my memory on my PC that you guys made. The camcorderr transfer does take up a lot of memory. Right now, my PC is XP Pro SP3 AMD Athlom (tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 5400+ 2.80 Ghz, 3.25 GB of RAM.

What do I need to buy online to increase the memory? I also like to buy one more DVD RM for easier transfer. I llooked at online but I am very clueless becuase I do not know what item would MATCH to my current PC.

This is what you got for memory when I put yours together pure  http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820145197 . If I remember right, you did some upgrading of your motherboard and cpu since then. We'd need to see the specs on that before recommending additional memory or DVD to insure the we steer you in thew right direction.

i barely ever run over 2.5 gigs of memory when running games even. Maybe you need more hard disk space.

Go to: My Computer and check to see how much free space you have on your C drive (hard drive). You may have put so much stuff on your computer you haven't the space for anything else on your hard drive.

Actually if you have tons of movies, music, and pictures on your computer getting an external hard drive may be a better way to go.

But check to see if you have space left on your hard drive by following the above directions. This might just be your problem rather than a need for more RAM.

Just a lil reminder that XP will ONLY access up to 3.25 GB of RAM so if u put 16 GB in it will only see and use just 3.25 GB

Last... Yeah... I was thinking about buying the external hard drive to storage the video...

Cortath... i drop the upgrade thing since it is getting expensive. As right now, I got enough money to upgrade the computer. YAY!
